Long Description: Innerkip Quarry is located near the town of Innerkip, Ontario. Innerkip is approx. 3 hours west of Toronto, just northeast of Woodstock.. Take Hwy 401 west from Toronto and take exit #250. Turn right on Hwy 29 and take it west to the town of Innerkip. Head through town and turn left on George St. and follow it to the Quarry. From 1928 until it flooded in 1937, Innerkip Quarry supplied gravel for use in railway beds. In 1957 it was purchased by its present owners and turned into a recreational facility. It is currently used for camping, swimming, diving, and as a trailer park.
