Long Description: Sold to D.M. Goudy (owner of Sunnyside Amusement Park), the Lyman M. Davis``s rigging was set with fireworks for a public spectacle. As part of the City of Toronto``s centennial celebrations, the ship burned to the waterline and sank offshore on June 29, 1934. C.H.J. Snider lead a crusade to save the Davis from this demise, but failed. The Toronto Mail & Empire advertised the upcoming event.
